K-Jay, comic extraordinaire is da joint! Just ask any of the audiences who've caught this laid-back, razor-sharp wit in action. From events like "The California Comedy Festival", "The Detroit Comedy Festival" and the "The Minnesota Fringe Festival", included are other nightspots such as, Acme Comedy Club's comedy showcase performance, opening act for Bill Santiago, Doug Benson and the famed Dudley Riggs's-"Brave New Workshop", where he launched his career with a scholarship in improv and sketch comedy writing. K-Jay leaves them laughing in his wake!
Combining topical tales, crisp one-liners and even haiku (he calls it cometry - poetry, mixed with humor). K-Jay has developed a rare, smoothly original style causing the audience feeling like they are visiting a fond, devilishly warmhearted friend, as opposed to just a comedic performer!
K-Jays track record since graduating "The Brave New Workshop" includes and in addition to many clubs, college shows, coffee shops and having opened for "Saturday Night Live, Finesse Mitchell", not to mention a host of Comedy Central Comedians.
K-Jay also performs in "The Whopper Freak-out" parody on "YouTube". This video has notched upwards of 3 million hits and many millions of hits also being registered on "MySpace.com" and featured Minneapolis Star Tribune columnist..."CJ", and TMZ Celebrity TV show.
