Spirit Horse Center

Spirit Horse Center is a unique equestrian facility that goes beyond boarding, riding and training. As a gathering place for those with a passion for horses and a desire to learn, it has become a sanctuary where horse and human make a connection that will last a lifetime.

Using methods that are centered on the basics of horsemanship, we focus on the physical and inner strength and balance of horse and human.

Located in Brainerd, Minnesota, our state-of-the-art facility includes a 160-by-70-foot heated indoor riding arena with bleacher seating and glassed-in bi-level heated and air conditioned viewing areas. We offer traditional services such as indoor and outdoor boarding, horse training and private or semi-private lessons using our school horses or your own horse. Group learning programs and special horse services are also available.

Toni Wasilensky is Spirit Horse Center's professional trainer and on-site manager. Toni has an extensive background in the classical dressage method of horsemanship and multiple years of experience in stable management.

Spirit Horse Center offers instruction that goes beyond "lessons" with our group learning programs for children and adults. We offer fun-filled group learning programs for kids that not only focus on riding but also include horse-related crafts and equine education and care. These programs accommodate beginners as well as the horse savvy.

Our adult group learning programs focus on many aspects of horse care and horsemanship by combining classroom education and hands-on horse time. Please check our calendar regularly for a listing of classes.

Spirit Horse Center offers a variety of traditional and holistic services for horses with injury, rehabilitative or behavioral needs.
