The panel’s presenters will be: University of Minnesota researcher Dr.Lauren Martin; Suzanne Koepplinger of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center; Michele Garnett McKenzie, the Director of Advocacy at The Advocates for Human Rights and Joy Friedman from the St. Paul-based, non-profit Breaking Free. The panel will speak about the issues and local efforts to combat this modern form of slavery.
