Kathy & Leo Lara: Music of the Andes

Leo Lara is a native of Ecuador; Kathy is a Minnesota girl. Together they play varied wind and string instruments and percussion handed down through generations in the Andes Mountains on the west coast of South America. They set their music in historical and cultural context and tell of the indigenous European and African influences on their style.
