Jonathan Lewis "Beating the Oracle Optimizer" Seminar

Jonathan will present his brand new one day "Beating the Oracle Optimizer" on Monday, February 13th at Benchmark Learning.
This new class is a follow-on from the course "Designing Optimal SQL", and focuses on writing SQL to emulate transformations that are currently not available to the Oracle Optimizer. The other course was essentially a guide to writing "normal" SQL in the best possible way – this course is about writing "abnormal" SQL because that’s the only efficient thing to do.
Each attendee will receive a free copy of Jonathan’s new book " Oracle Core: Essential Internals for DBAs and Developers " scheduled for release Novenber 7, 2011.
