"The Nineteenth Annual Mille Lacs History Festival & Rendezvous is being presented by the Mille Lacs Lake Historical Society June 25 & 26 at a site 6 miles south of Isle or 16 miles north of Ogilvie on Hwy 47, then one mile west on Red Road. This living history event brings the early 1800s to life with woodsman, frontiersmen, trappers, traders, and artisans. There will be demonstrations, storytellers, musicians, food, entertainment, a black powder shooting competition, and competitions of other old time armaments. Public admission is $2.00 and free to those 10 and under. Hours are 9 - 6 Saturday and 9 - 4 on Sunday. There will be a Flag-Raising and 21 Gun National Salute at 10:00AM on Saturday."
