Bio:
Dannell Shu is a worship leader, choreographer, and educator committed to helping Christians more fully and honestly embody their worship. She has helped congregations discover the joys of unified movement and active participation, worship leaders align their body language with their words, women experience the simplicity of movement prayers, and trained professional-level dancers. For over 15 years she has been active in raising the level of excellence of dance in the church. She holds a BFA in dance and choreography and is currently completing her Masters in Worship Studies. Dannell co-leads GlobalWorshipMovement.org with her husband Peter and is blessed to be the mother of a special needs child.
 
 
Series Description:
Do you long for a greater connection within your body, mind and soul when you worship? Do you wish for more active participation in worship and prayer? Come join this series of three classes to learn about how you can embody your worship more fully through simple, practical tools that engage your whole self. Classes will be cumulative and provide opportunities for participatory learning. Experience the intersections between movement, prayer, posture, dance, and worship with a Christ-centered heart.
 
 
Who this Course is for:
The material in this series of 3 classes is designed to impact women who desire more than just the predominant verbal and mental expressions in worship. Women who want to more fully offer their whole selves unto God as a response to His grace, love, and mercy in their lives. This series will also aid those who are ministering in specific roles and giftings to be better prepared and equipped to serve the church: choreographer, dancer, dance ministry leader, pastor, preacher, prayer warrior, worship leader, worship team vocalist, choir member, children’s/youth minister, mother, and women’s ministry leader.
