Painter Park

Painter Park and Recreation Center are located right off Lyndale Ave. in Southwest Minneapolis. During the summer it's the perfect spot to sit and enjoy ice cream from across the street at Sonny's Ice Cream, a Minneapolis original. Visitors can enjoy a picnic lunch on a blanket or at one of the picnic tables, play a match or two on the tennis court, step up to bat on the softball field, kick the ball around on the soccer field and take advantage of the playground.
