If you’ve ever wondered how a computer named Watson beat a human in the popular game show “Jeopardy,” bring your child with disabilities to IBM’s Celebration of Service Day. At the event, children ages 10 to 17 will participate in hands-on science activities – from working on computer-based scavenger hunts to constructing paper dog houses. IBM staff will be on hand to lead the activities and teach children about different careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. Prizes and snacks will also be included. For more information and to register for the event, call PACER Center at 952-838-9000 or visit PACER.org.
