North Regional is the largest of the Minneapolis community libraries. A major renovation project, completed in January 2007, has realigned the entire main floor for better service and enhanced the building's exterior to present a more welcoming face to the community. Inside, the furnishings and layout provide an air of discovery with bright, inviting colors. Building Facts Built 1971; two stories (upper level has meeting and program space); 32,600 sq. ft.; parking lot entered from either Fremont or Girard. Reopened January 2007.
