Tiny Fingers of Minnesota

Baby & Me signing classes (designed for babies and toddlers 0-2.5 years) run weekly for 6 weeks for 50 minutes each session. Classes are held in Oakdale, MN.

What will we learn? You will learn over 90 signs during 6 separate lessons, each focused on a given theme, including First Signs, Mealtime Signs, Bedtime and Bath time signs, Animal Signs, Playtime Signs and Dressing Signs. These lessons focus on both need based signs (basic needs such as “eat”, “change me”) and highly motivating signs (items of interest for baby such as “doggy”, “toy”).

You will be shown how to introduce and use specific signs to your child on a daily basis. During each class, we will introduce an activity to reinforce the signs and will learn to sing and sign a familiar song related to the theme of the lesson. A few additional signs will be introduced for use in the songs. All signs taught are developmentally appropriate for infants and toddlers and are based on American Sign Language.
