Choral Arts Ensemble: Choral Classics European Excursion

For this concert, Choral Arts Ensemble will survey some of the greatest choral music from the musically rich history of European countries. Included are works from the Tudor era in England, including Byrd’s Sing Joyfully, and Scandinavian pieces by Knut Nystedt among others. The Impressionistic flavors of French music are captured in Durufle’s Quatre Motets, which includes his beloved Ubi Caritas. Lastly, the Ensemble will recognize St. Patrick’s Day with several Irish favorites.
