Choral Arts Ensemble: An American Spring

Choral Arts Ensemble’s concert season will close with music for the springtime from some of America’s favorite composers and folk traditions. Guest conductor Matthew Culloton will lead the singers in a program that includes traditional concert works, including Aaron Copland’s Lark and Cecil Effinger’s Four Pastorales for choir and oboe, and favorite folk songs like She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain, The Gift to be Simple, and Shall We Gather at the River. Two premieres will be on the program.
