Portrait painting or drawing

Instructor Louis Gillis will offer tips in how to start working in portraiture. During this six-week class students will work from a posed, clothed model which will allow them to achieve a likeness in charcoal. The more advanced student may choose to develop a portrait in oil. Emphasis will be on seeing shapes and values accurately in order to develop a likeness. Students will receive individual guidance. For ages 16 and older. Model fee included in price.
